Jim has been President/CEO for half-a-dozen firms, Group Vice President for several domestic and international companies, as well as founding three companies. He is the Principal for the New England offices of Padgett Performance Group, where he leads the executive coaching and training activities. Jim also provides guidance to clients for recruiting and hiring.

Mr. Povec is an expert in the field of Emotional Intelligence. He has provided over 5000 hours of coaching helping executives and managers become more effective leaders.

Jim earned a BS from Ohio University in the early years before they had electricity.
